The goal of the Boston Jerusalem Charity Fund is to relieve, to the extent possible, food insecurity. According to a Washington University survey. “the number one reason for food insecurity mentioned by more than half the respondents was that families did not have enough money to buy food.”

- Succos 2023 - $28,000
- Hannukah 2023 - $14,000
Boston Jerusalem Charity Fund
The Boston Jerusalem Charity fund was established in 2021 to assist Families in Boston/Jerusalem to combat food poverty. The Boston Jerusalem Charity fund was awarded 501( c) 3 Tax exempt status.
We know the toll that food insecurity takes on
- Physical health
- Mental health
The goals of the Boston Jerusalem Charity Fund is to relieve, to the extent possible, food insecurity. According to a Washington University survey. “the number one reason for food insecurity mentioned by more than half the respondents was that families did not have enough money to buy food.”
To date either through direct food distribution or through the granting of gift cards to supermarkets approximately 480,000 shekels or $135,000 has been distributed to needy families in Jerusalem:

Pesach 2023 - $51,000
